Yeah, but I've decided to give up following strange women into spooky lakes. Turns out it's definitely not worth it in the long run.

actually you kind of nailed it.
i always listened to music, even as a kid. one of my favorites was monteverdi, music from a couple of centuries ago that people still perform even where i'm from.

i know i probably dont seem like a classical guy but it's actually how i prefer to spend my time. even if i'm just at home listening.

You know, there's actually quite a lot about you that isn't exactly what it might seem. I like that there's always something new to find out whenever we talk.

If you're a classical guy as well, I'll have to introduce you to my friend Dorothea. They call her the 'Mystical Songstress' back home - she's the most talented soprano in all of Fódlan, no question. I used to save a cut of whatever I earned every night when I worked in the Empire, just in case a new performance was announced.

Maybe she'd sing for you if I ask her nicely enough.

i'd claim to be all mysterious and enchanting, but it's probably more like you're going through your trash and realizing you can actually recycle something out of it

i'd be flattered if you did. i don't have a nice voice myself. not for lack of trying. but hey i can play a piano so i guess i got that going for me if she needs some background

Ah, there we go. I wondered how long you'd be able to last without talking yourself down again.

( And you know, Yuri's just ... going to keep his own nice voice under wraps for now. He still feels some kind of way about singing for people who aren't kids. )
