My grandfather had me read the stories in the original English. It was economical, training me in multiple disciplines at once.

It does help. Everything I know about manipulating air, I learned because I was able to conceptualize it in a particular way. Demanding something of the element and expecting that demand to be met.

Knowing that rubies are likely different is valuable information.
