well i was worried about your emotional well-being, but i don't know if frightened is the right word for it. maybe frightened FOR you, mostly because it's pretty fucked up what you had to deal with.

but if it helps, it's because i care about you. and doing you a favor isn't a burden to me. that'd be impossible.

It's the Japanese custom. Cake is traditionally eaten with family or friends, and the holiday itself is for lovers.
