PERSONALITY:
Leone Abbacchio is a man that is inevitably trapped by his past and struggles to move forward, feeling weighted by his actions of past. It's due primarily to a very distinct case of "having fucked up" and largely being unable to forgive himself or see his own worth. As a result, he's nearly consumed by his own self-loathing that he constantly is in need of a purpose to keep moving forward. Though Abbacchio has claimed that he doesn't feel anything since his Big Mistake, this is exaggerated considerably since he clearly has distinct reactions to certain things around him. More accurately, it would be better to say that he has a difficult time allowing himself much empathy toward others not immediately outside of his concern. He is a man who has been close to being consumed by his guilt, and it would have been a sure thing that he'd have let himself die in the gutter if not for Bruno Bucciarati finding his worth. Working with Bruno and the rest of his time is currently his anchor to keep functioning, and has even stated that he only feels peace when he's by Bruno's side. Quite frankly, Abbacchio's attitude generally always seems to improve when Bruno is within his immediate presence anyway.

For the most part, Abbacchio comes across as one of the more serious members of the gang. He is stern, bitter, and often doesn't involve himself in most of the team's ridiculous antics. That's not to say that he's above any of it, as he does at least participate in some of their unusual conversations, but otherwise often keeps to himself or prefers to focus on more pressing matters. Some people have to keep their tough guy goth appearance up to snuff, after all. Though he's kind of a prickly asshole and can even be cold in his decision making, there are a few cracks here and there that shows his softer side. Still, it's good to keep in mind that has an aggressive approach to most things, especially during altercations; he's the kind of man who will shout all of his threats and be determined to follow up on them, even if his Stand is mostly useless during a fight. That kind of thing would hardly stop Abbacchio, though. His dedication and loyalty to his team is unquestionable, to the point that he's willing to cut off his own hand for the sake of the mission expected of him. It's okay, he put it back on.

Keeping all of that in mind, Abbacchio is not shy about stating his thoughts bluntly and harshly, regardless of who it is. Although Giorno Giovanna is new to the team, Abbacchio was unabashed in telling him precisely what he thought of him, and not afraid to say that he outright hated him. Though those feelings have somewhat subsided after watching Giorno's actions and developing a begrudging respect for him, Abbacchio isn't the kind of person to sugarcoat anything -- even to Bucciarati who he respects the most. He's also remarked that he feels that the world has turned its back on him, and that he's never really had a home to return to; the closest thing he truly has is Team Bucciarati.

Underneath it all is indeed someone who once had ideals. In what feels like a lifetime ago, Abbacchio had been an officer of the law once, and had wanted to do right by the common man, but very quickly his resolve to follow his morals corroded and diminished by society. Yet, those feelings never quite disappeared; at the core of it all, Abbacchio does indeed admire people with a righteous heart, which is in part why he feels strongly about Bruno Bucciarati. In turn, Abbacchio often acts as the investigator for the team, sorting out a mystery with use of his skills as an ex-cop and his Stand, Moody Blues. Regardless, the heart of a lion hasn't quite died off inside of Abbacchio, even up to his unfortunate death. After dying, Abbacchio had wanted to return to his friends to continue aiding them, but such a thing was impossible.

However, at the very end, despite everything his moral compass remained, and that is the truth of Leone Abbacchio.

POWERS/ABILITIES:

Stand - In summary, a Stand is the physical manifestation of one's fighting spirit, and such a Stand typically only has one ability at its disposal. A Stand user normally is the only person who can see a Stand, though it is possible that one's inherent supernatural senses might be able to bear witness to a Stand's presence. Regardless, a Stand can be envisioned as one's avatar, familiar, etc. for an easy comparison.

In the case of Abbacchio, his Stand is named Moody Blues. Though hardly a combative Stand like most, it's one that's useful for a man who used to be a police officer: it can replay an event occurring in a given place within a time specified by Abbacchio. As such, Moody Blues takes on the appearance of whoever the event is focused on at the time, save for the time stamp on the forehead. Moody Blues can speed up the event that Abbacchio is reviewing or pause it in order to proceed with his investigation. However, the longer the time period he's attempting to rewind to, the longer it takes.
